rSmart exhibiting and presenting at this year's NACUBO Conference

Billing itself as the networking event of the year for business officers in higher education, this year's NACUBO meeting is scheduled to take place in Chicago, Illinois at the Chicago Hilton and Towers.

rSmart will be in Booth 721 in the Southwest Hall during the conference. Chris Coppola, President of rSmart, will be particpating in the "Open Source-A Business Solution for Higher Education" session on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 8:30-9:45 AM in the Ontario Room. This session is a collaborative session that allows each participant to both learn about and contribute his or her own perspective, knowledge and experience to the dialogue about the adoption of open source software. Today, the adoption of these solutions is gated less by the capability of the systems than by the supporting infrastructure, attitudes and business processes that must evolve to support broad adoption. A strategy lab, a group of networked laptops with web collaboration software, will support session facilitation.
