KRAD Training for Kuali Rice 2.0

What is KRAD?
Kuali Rapid Application Development (KRAD) is a new module of the Kuali Rice 2.0. KRAD is a software development framework for building modern rich User Interfaces. It builds from the previous Rice Kuali Nervous System (KNS) module and in addition the Kuali Student UI framework.

Who should attend?
The training will be particularly beneficial for those who have previously developed with the KNS. However, the training will also be helpful for new Rice developers.

What will the KRAD training cover?
The training will teach attendees to build applications using KRAD. Particular focus will be given to the KRAD User Interface Framework (UIF). KRAD is built on the following technologies, which will also be covered in this training:

  • Spring MVC & EL
