Kuali Days V marked as a major milestone for the Kuali Foundation

Kuali Days V will be a major milestone for higher education as the Kuali Financial Systems (KFS) Release 2 will be available for major implementations. The software has been entirely designed by college and university financial staff to meet the needs of higher education. Dave Lyons,  Program Chair, stated "With Release 2 of this enterprise class software and its readiness for major implementations, the Kuali Foundation is demonstrating the possibilities when we efficiently pool our resources to get the software we need."

 The Kuali Foundation is a non-profit organization that manages a growing portfolio of enterprise software applications for colleges and universities, including the Kuali Financial System (KFS), Kuali Endowment Management (KEM), and Kuali Student System  (KS).  Kuali Days V will highlight the KFS Release 2 with three new modules as well as have sessions in KRA, which has its own grant funding and development partners and leaders, along with the KEM and KS sessions to describe their plans and roadmaps.  Kuali Commercial Affiliates will also be present to describe their services to support, host and help install Kuali systems.

For senior technical staff, Kuali Days V will have in-depth functional and technical sessions covering various aspects of the Kuali initiatives, including Kuali Workflow. There will also be a session on Kuali Rice, the enterprise class middleware suite of integrated products and will focus on the underlying technology supporting all Kuali systems. Functional staff will have the opportunity to meet directly with their counterparts from the development partners who wrote the specifications for the Kuali software.
