After successfully implementing the rSmart Sakai CLE around the world-in North America, Europe, India, Singapore and Australia-we are able to provide you with the most efficient and effective path to a successful Sakai deployment. Implementing a new system can be a complex undertaking. Most institutions experience a higher level of success by starting with a small group before rolling the system out at an enterprise level. You can get started with the rSmart Sakai CLE in as few as six weeks by engaging us to implement the rSmart Sakai CLE Adoption Package where we help you install, configure, manage and learn about the rSmart Sakai CLE in a safe, reliable hosted environment. As part of this package, we provide Tier 2 and 3 support for six months for up to 500 users.
If you are ready to use the rSmart Sakai CLE at an enterprise level, then we offer an Enterprise Support Subscription where we provide on-going software support and maintenance services. This includes Tier 2 & 3 support for hosted and on-premise enterprise implementations. rSmart's Support Subscription keeps your Sakai implementation up to date through bi-monthly service pack releases with the latest feature updates, maintenance code , regulatory updates and bug fixes while you enjoy rapid innovation and trusted delivery. With rSmart suporting and maintaining the rSmart Sakai CLE, your limited IT resources are free to focus on other institutional priorities like making sure faculty and students are getting the most out of your technology investments.
rSmart provides two levels of software hosting services for your rSmart Sakai CLE: Standard and Premium. Standard hosting for your CLE instance is included with your Enterprise Support Subscription at no additional charge. If you choose, you may upgrade to our Premium hosting package, which includes higher levels of performance, greater storage capacity, extended back-ups of database and files and ability to maintain hot back-ups.
When you host your Sakai CLE implementation with rSmart, you cut costs by eliminating system administrator time and training as well as on-premise hardware. Hosting with rSmart also allows rSmart experts to upgrade to the most current version of the CLE at no additional cost to you. It ensures a high level of performance with guaranteed uptime as specified in your service level agreement (SLA) and it ensures your software is kept up-to-date with patches, regular service packs, and security updates.
rSmart's Adoption Package includes the critical services necessary to get started with Sakai. However, you may optionally engage us to perform additional services that will help you increase user acceptance and transition smoothly to your new Sakai CLE enterprise implementation.
